This is a thick, crystal clear, amber honey with a smooth and velvety mouthfeel. One judge felt that they would have preferred more woody flavours to come through but the level of sweetness is great and we all enjoyed this.

An amber coloured viscous honey with gentle malty notes combined with the smoothness of honeydew. It leaves a light dryness on the finish. This is an excellent example of its type.

We enjoyed the viscosity of this delicious floral-scented honey. It was sweet without being cloying and didn’t have the acrid tones we feared given the fir forest and altitude. We could carry on eating this honey, off a spoon.
